Frequently asked

How do I restore a purchase?

If you have subscribed before — on this device or another one signed in to the same Apple Account — open Inkfolio and tap Restore purchases at the bottom of the subscription screen. Your subscription is tied to your Apple Account, so it follows you to a new iPhone without needing to be bought again.

If restoring does not bring it back, email us and we will sort it out.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so they are cancelled in your Apple Account rather than inside Inkfolio:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
  3. Tap Inkfolio, then Cancel Subscription.

You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancelling during a free trial stops it before any charge, as long as you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

How do I delete my account and my data?

Open Inkfolio, tap the account button in the top-right corner, then Delete account. This permanently removes your account and everything stored with it — your collection, decks and watchlist — from our servers. It cannot be undone.

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription, because Apple handles billing. Cancel it separately using the steps above.

The scanner is not recognising a card

The scanner matches a card by its artwork, so it wants a clear look at it:

A card from a very new set may not have reached the card database yet. If a card refuses to scan under good conditions, tell us which one and we will look into it.

A price looks wrong, or is missing

Prices are United States market prices sourced from TCGplayer and refreshed daily, so they will not match every marketplace, region or currency — treat them as a guide to what a card is worth, not as an offer to buy or sell.

Some printings, particularly unusual promos and brand-new releases, have too little sales data to price at all. Those are left blank rather than guessed at.

Does my collection sync between devices?

Yes. Your collection, decks and watchlist are backed up to your account and restored when you sign in to Inkfolio on another device with the same account.

What does the subscription cost?

Inkfolio is $4.99 per week, or $39.99 per year with a 7-day free trial. Both plans unlock exactly the same app — there are no tiers and nothing is held back for a higher price.
